How can I find out if my 1986 Olds Cutlass Supreme is 3 speed or 4 speed?
I have a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 5.0 liter V8 w/ automatic transmission. I’ve looked everywhere to find this information. Would it be somewhere on the car? The sticker on the door is so old that the printed info has disappeared. Would it be somewhere on the engine?

Well look at your shifting column. Should see a 1, 2, D, OD, N, R, and P. If you have this, it is a four speed tranny with OD being your fourth gear. Otherwise known as a four on the floor.
