How can I disable the fasten seatbelt buzzer on my 2005 Lincoln Aviator?
I have a 2005 Lincoln Aviator and often sit waiting for someone with the car running and don’t want to have the seatbelt on while I’m waiting. The buzzer drives me crazy – it is so loud! How can I disable it?
I looked in the owners manual and the only fuse I see that could be for this is called ‘restraints module’ – is this what I need to unplug?
do not remove that fuse. it is for the airbag system. the seat belts are equipped with pretentioners. an easy way to fix it is buckle the seat belt behind you instead of in front.
