I’m just about to put my Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6 Extreme build No. 001, number one! What’s it worth?
Evo VI Extreme the original one the first ever, and in pristine condition with only 38,000 miles. The original RalliArt demo/press car as featured on top gear and all the magazines of the time 1999/2000. This is one special car but what’s it worth?
Its not worth any more than a slightly later car as there is no particular collector value to it. ‘The market’ tends to view early chassis number runs in any car as a bit of a risky business as often, early glitches are resolved in later cars.
Also I would not advertise the fact that it has been ragged about by every journalist under the sun, this will DEFINITELY have a negative effect on its value.
Cars that are completely original are worth far more than cars that have been modified in any way and it will be worth more if it was first registered in the UK. You should look at the value of the Tommi Makkinen edition as a guide to the price of this car as it will be very similar.
