what do you think of an 1990 Lincoln Town car signature series?
Its got 94k miles and it takes a couple trys to start up but it runs,
supposely it does that because it has old gas in it .because its been sitting in a field for a couple years. but the interior looks great
Check underneath thoroughly for rust. Cars sitting in fields WILL rust. Look at the brake lines too. Also, the air bag suspension on these cars were a nightmare to keep alive when they were new. If it’s been sitting in a field and the air bags for the suspension are shot (evidenced by the wheel wells of the car resting on the tires) stay away, unless you can get it for cheap.
Find one that wasn’t sitting in a field. These cars are cheap and plentiful, it just might take some searching.
Unless you want a car to practice working on, stay away from this one. It will be a total headache and a money pit.
