What waxes and polishes surfaces best restoration severely oxidized highway?
I recently bought a used car and paint and finish are beautiful on the sides, but highly oxidized surfaces of the roof and hood. I wonder if there are certain waxes, polishes, or chemicals, the best work for the restoration of serious things as they are. I have a couple of top brand waxes tried, without success. Any help or suggestions on this would be very grateful.
NuFinish is awesome! He is in a bright orange bottle and you can get pretty than anywhere else in the car department. In our store, we used polishing compound from oxidation. You must be careful not to not rub too hard with one or you can chew the paint below the oxidation. I have an old car 20 years, almost back to gray to black with shiny oxidation was observed and a car 15 years (mine!) has pink to bright NuFinish Burgundy. Nu is ready actually easier, I think, but the connection can get a mirror shine, if you take the time. Make sure you wax the area afterwards, no matter what method you think. The paint is thin, it tends to further oxidation and discoloration, if not regularly maintained. Here is a link that says some good advice.
